Those colors are so pretty, what kind of flower are the blue ones?

The blue ones on the left are Delphinium, Violetyeyes, but going over now.
Honeysuckle on the right originally came from a self seed! Get cheap plants that way!! :o))
I'm trying to nurture a Magnolia seedling at the moment which was a self-seed from our Leonard Messell.
If it will mature it will be interesting to see what it's like. Probably nothing like the mother tree, but that's the surprise part!! I think this is it's 3rd year & it's still only inches tall yet!

Did you plant the Delphinium from seed ? I started some this year, and I could use any advice you may have!

I grow from self seed too Shirl usually quite successfully :)

That particular delph is os old Violeteyes I really can't remember! We probably bought that one I think, but we have grown from seed as well. They usually take a while to get established from seed, but then will go on for years if you want to keep them. We have dug sonme out in the past & replaced with new ones.
My neighbour gave me a small plant of a white one she grew from her own seed, but it turned out to be a beautiful palest bluey/lilac colur - lovely! That's half the fun of growing from your own seed, never know what will emerge! This one only had one spike this year but hoping it will grow on well & produce more next year.

Of course there can be lots of failures too, I am not always successful!!

p.s. Violeteyes, I looked up Windsor on the internet, looks like quite a big city. Do you live in the city or outside?
