No mercy!!! But I am trying to find a good organic alternative. I hear spent coffee is the latest. Anyone else try that with any degree of success?

Have a look at my latest blog for an organic alternative! I grow my hostas in a pot with a copper band around it. So far so good....

I only found two entries for your blog...one about the hedgehog and and the other about old garden pics. Am I not looking in the right place? Ever use bran? A friend of mine says the slugs eat it and their gut explodes because it expands. Also it is harmless to other creatures.

I meant the hedgehog Asyaver- they love slugs! Beer traps are effective at killing slugs but I find it a terrible waste (of beer-not slugs!)

Oh duh! He is very sweet looking by the way. Hope he remains a wanted guest. He is lovely.

Too many pellets can entice the snails to come to your plants....They can smell them......:>)
