Spring Rose

My rose lived all winter inside, got a hard cut in early spring and immediately came back with this first lovely big bloom out on the porch steps. I think another winter and the pot needs to be a bit bigger. Any advice about keeping potted roses, that would be great. I don't know what to do to keep her going year after year. :-) Already feeling lucky.

Thank you! This rose is Peace, my favorite. I think I'll have to ramp up my watering, I let it dry before I water, probably better to just keep wet. Just what I needed, Val. :-)

My pleasure and good luck, I have a peace rose, been planted in my garden for 30 years but sadly is losing some of its vigour..... bit like me, LOL !

Beautiful rose and looks so healthy.
I have roses in pots and have been told to keep well watered and fed.
