Funky!

I am hoping to try and grow some of this from seed as I am trying to attract some birds back into my garden. I used to have robins and tits and other small birds until someone unwittingly chopped down a large berry bearing tree very close to my house and this year there are NONE. I tried loose bird feed but this attracted RATS which I dont want. I tried solid bird feeds but to no effect. How invasive is teasel? and where is the best place in a small garden to plant it. Clarky

Hi Clarky
Iwas given one plant a couple of years ago, next year nothing came up and this year about 8 plants appeared. They are in a sunny position in pretty poor soil. I find cage type bird feeders and a bird table best for attracting birds but they will be attracted to the teasel.(i'll save you some seed if you want). Mike
