I love this Weigela because of the flowers. All of my Weigelas are flowering right now, this one did not flower in the Spring but has quite a few buds now.

They typically bloom in May here (April this year) but sometimes Weigela will bloom on mid-summer growth as well.

Interesting. So you have quite delayed season, as they usually bloom in May/June in mild zones.
I love these shrubs too.
