a Lidl rose

I'm not sure what kind it is, the labels in supermarkets are usually a bit vague "rose" is usually all they say! it looks like a double bloom.

It's got two wide stems, going in oppositre directions of course; i did think about trimming them back but they're the only ones that have flowers on them

It may be from Lidl.....I always feels trapped in our Lidl Fran. If I don't buy anything I have to be 'let out'. The car park is dodgy as it's right next to the station. Clamper territory.

awk! that sounds decidedly dodgy it's very rare that I don't buy anything there - often I look at their website and if there's nothing there that I want, i don't go at all - it's two buses there and a minicab back, so I don't often go on the off-chance that there might be somehting. but once I'm there, I'll usually find something that wasn't on the wesbite to bring home with me.

Well, the trip that brought this rose back in a minicab was worth while. It is beautiful Fran.

thanks, Linda. There are several more buds showing, so fingers crossed. I'm not very good with flowers, I've got rose books, but most of them don't seem to apply to my situation, so it's very much trial and error.
