Finally got around to roofing the arch over my back door - it's only very rough and ready till I see what adjustments need to be made, or till I find something better to put up there. It's not been tested yet - I don't want to wish for rain ...

well,l it's over the back door, so it's mostly going to be useful as an all-weather smoking shelter!
Still not been tested yet. There's a gap on the wall side, because the plastic wasn't that big, and anyway, I'm hardly going to be standing there, the door would get in the way.
I'm hoping to find something better - something that I can attach some piping to to lead down to one of my water bottles, at least I'll be able to recycle some rain, when we get any.
lol sometimes I feel that I'm a bit sad - others write of their rolling acres and travels around the world, and me? I've put a bit of plastic up over the back door! Still, doing what I can with what I've got is as much as I can do.

There's nothing sad about using what you've got and making the most of it Fran ,it's having it and not using it that's so sad and wasteful .. ..

Thanks, Amy - there's a b it in the Desiderata about "don't compare yourself with others, you'll either get depressed or boastful" - lol I'm paraphrasing!
I should be careful what I wish for ... got some rain now, just a little, but the roof is doing its job - coo, to stand outside in the rain and be dry!
