Great photo, I live about 12 miles from this and did a blog on this part of Hastings a few weeks ago Fran. My photo does not look any different to yours and it still works well. The sea front has smartened up a lot in the last couple of years though, and the lovely county cricket ground is now a shopping precinct. Last year it had a new station concourse with a new university building too, all very modern.

We stayed at the local Youth Hostel and did several trips out - the battlefield, of course, the town, and the clifftop walk. Would like to go back one day.

Hope you make one day as so much of it is unchanged just a bit smarter really.

I haven't seen this Fran ,I shall store the info. away for any future visits :o)

now that I look at it, it's not a bad pic, taken on an old film camera and scanned in later. Most of my pics tend to be slightly blurry becuase I still can't get the hang of pressing the shutter button gently enough to avoid jarring the camera. At least with a digital camera one doesn't have to send a roll of film off, and get back only a few usable pics out of the whole roll.

I went to Brighton a couple of weeks ago, and that has one too, but we didn't get far enough to see it.

I could never hold old cameras still, I use to jar as I took a photo and end up with photos of feet.

lol and the times I had pics of my finger which had strayed over the lens!
