Lavender

Hi Mrtreefern. Your lavender is absolutely gorgeous, I'm very envious, I have two in pots and they're both looking decidedly glum! The flowers died off a few weeks ago so I cut them back to just above the old wood (is this right?).

Maybe you can pass on some of your knowledge as your
plants look so colourful and healthy:-)

Thanks for your comments. I must admit that I inherited this lavender when we moved to the house 3 years ago. I cut it back around late October, like you say above the old wood, and it pretty much looks after itself. I'm not really sure why your flowers have died but suggest you post a picture of them and see if anybody in this forum can offer any explanation. Sorry I can't help you out but I hope they make a recovery.
