Strawberry (and Duck) peep.

The strawberries have been just growing this summer without any fruit. Finally, something is appearing on its tops :)

lol fair enough! I did try growing some at the communal garden I worked in, found a few berries, ate them straight off the plant, very nice! I only went there once a week, so the birds probably had more than i did, still, that was part of the scheme, to attract birds.

Thank you for your ecological thinking, Fran. It was nice from you to leave few berries to birds. I am just curious, what was then sent to Tesco? :))

I've never tried growing strawberries - I bought some, found the pack again a while ago, probably past the plant-by date, but still worth trying, Do the birds leave you enough berries to make harvesting worthwhile?
