Yes, met with a lovely surprise yesterday, spotted these poking out from a few receding spent passion flowers. Ones I had attempted to pollinate. Its worked!! Spotted 7 small passion fruits. So my quick google worked, have to get in ther quick and swap pollen from other passion plants. It said wont work from the same plant so swapped from three different passion plants 2x caerulea 1x white lightening (which is the same thing really) and hey presto, seems to have worked a treat. This means for next year i get get them going early in the season and see how much fruit I can get. Chuffed : )

Counted 7 so far, in three corners of the polycave so have done a few more flowers so should get 3-4 in each corner. However not alot left of the season so unless we get some sun i dont think these will come on fully, but chuffed none the less : )

Thanks Sticki, well so simple in the end Scottish but i guess would need a bee to be around on the same day as the flower and move around them all, a bit surprised not to get one or two but maybe they need a bit of pollen to activate them. Looking forward to next year now : )

o wow! well done! you can be proud of yourself...
I just remembered the story for children we watched back in my country about the insects - the main character's name was Bee Maya and her friend's name was Gucio.
Katarina can tell you more about it, lol.
so from now on your nickname will be Gucio (Gutzio).
here is the link to the main musical theme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pQalXmClNc
enjoy, lol

P.S - Gucio's name in other languages was Willi and he was a Drone bee.
