The border on the left of the path was planted two years ago and consists mainly of leucanthemum,crocosmia,agapanthus , hardy fuchsia,and osteospermum.

I'm wondering, how many bulbs of crocosmia shoul i plant to get the same effect? Looks lovely!

Canna, they sure do spread all on their own!!

Not very many. Perhaps 10 to 15 in a clump initially and they'll look as big as these in 2-3 years.
As Grandmage says they do spread very quickly and benefit from being divided every 2-3 years .
