Verbena 'Homestead Purple'

So pretty. I have this, it did really well in a pot but after 2-3 years. I put it in the garden and its struggling in my heavy clay. Is yours in a pot?

Do you think it should be left outside Drc?....I suppose it will depend on Winter weather....

I first planted it in a pot in June 2009 and there it stayed outside (tucked under the eaves in winter ) and has done very well, until last autumn when I put it in the ground and in my clay soil it has really struggled M.
