I rather think its because he's still a baby he didn't appear to have anything wrong with him (or her)

Glad he was alright. We've had quite a few birds hit the kitchen window but they all seem to fly away again. It's a big sheet of glass and I wonder if reflecting the sky they think it really is the sky.

I used to have that problem with some big patio doors we had in our last house. I made a small card cutout of a flying bird and stuck it to the glass with blu tak, and that seemed to stop it. I have done the same thing with some interior ones in our present house that I kept walking into myself, and haven't banged my head since!

Gerry stuck circles along the patio doors that go through into the conservatory as I kept banging my head thinking that they were open and they WEREN'T.

Well at least you were thinking they were open - when I did it I wasn't thinking at al...
