Wonderful photo.

This was my 3rd experience of a dragonfly whizzing around me this summer hols and each time I thought how lovely it would be to catch them in flight with a camera shot, but of course this was an unrealistic prospect due to their speed. However, on this occasion, I folllowed its tracks and found it comfortably resting on my bamboo. My camera was tucked away indoors; I couldn't get it out quick enough but I needn't have worried because it was there for the duration ~ quite happily posing for the lens, it seems. A fabulous opportunity & on my birthday too! i feel blessed. x
