After telling everyone that I just cannot grow these in my garden, up popped this one from yet another packet of seed I put in last year. At last. It's only taken 3 packets of seed and 3 years !!!!!

Hate to say it, but it looks like a Welsh Poppy (Meconopsis cambrica) HB.............
