One thing I notice is...Queen palms in the southland can reach much higher heights. Not all of them...but some seem to keep going and growing..

Most of the larger Queen palms are much older than the ones in the SF Bay Area.
There's several in the Western Edition of Balboa Park. These trees were planted 100 years ago and are more than 85' tall.
