A foliage plant. My Begonia, came third...

Indeed. I'd entered my better Rex in the class of three. I had been wondering whether to throw this one out, the green is so dark it doesn't really stand out in a display.
But i think i'll keep it, i think it is a nice plant for an individual class. I'll get and pot it on, hopefully it'll look a bit better for next year.
I'm not sure if this is a Rex, so i can't enter it at Shrewsbury. The class there is for Begonia Rex. At Roden it's foliage plants, so it's fine at this show.
My best Rex has some spots all over the leaves, not sure if it's some kind of fungus or mildew, i'll have to try and find out and get it sorted....

I had a plant that looks very much like this one many years ago when I lived in Spain. Not sure if it's the same plant though.

I think this one came off ebay, but it was sent from within the UK.
Don't tend to order plants from overseas, by the time they get here they might be past their best. And you never know, if it's from too far afield it might have a pest or something that we're not familiar with.
