This is a lovely one Kathy , I love those stalks I remember Meanie's photo ! BTW those Ricinus plants / seeds you sent me have grown so much they all still have flowers on , I'm very pleased with them . The Lobelia Tupa have developed into nice plants but haven't flowered this year I expect that will happen next year ,I'm looking forward to seeing them ... ☺

Thats strange Meanie I've just been checking the plants in the greenhouse today and this is sprouting new leaves at the base, I'm going to try cuttings this year so I can plant a few in the borders, love it :-)
Have your lobelia tupa sprouted this year Amy mine are just poking through :-)

If it's in a pot Simbad then remove it and look for root runners - that's a good way to propagate it early.

My Tupa are shooting away. One plant has twelve shoots up to 8cm high on it.

Crikey those lobelia love you don't they mine aren't that big!!!

Two of the three do. Number two has seven or eight not so tall shoots. The third, is a lot slower.
