I hear crying him "Help me!" What is under it?

lol this is my potato patch, three troughs of potatoes I didn't eat before they started sprouting. Thought, what's to lose? and planted them. Don't think Worzel will keep the @*! squirrels off, but still, at least he's in gainful employment now.

I don´t see three potatoes there. I think once you keep thing like that among potatoes, it starts to have scent like potatoes (sprouting or not) and it isn´t anymore threat for squirrels. I am sure Worzel is surrounded by squirrels in night, Fran :))

lol doubt he'd be much deterrent in any case! but planted "field" seemed the best place to put him.

Are you afraid he will disappear with the crops? It seems as if you do not like Worzel very much :)

lol I liked him even as a kid, in the books by Barbara Euphan Todd, long before he was played on TV by Jon Pertwee. But he should be put to work, even if only as a token
