Unusual color dianthus which is also unusually tall. She blooms a few weeks after all my other dianthus and continues until our first frosts. This little patch is only a few inches wide and fills about a 3ft circle, sprawling well among large leaves like this ligularia. I planted them in a drift across the new bank, where they can fill in, and due to the success of the wild seed, spread across the lower garden. I just love it.

Thank you each. I just had to share. Maybe when I get home I'll be able to more shots, more blooms on that bank. It really is a winner. I'll collect seed, maybe I'll be able to share. :-)
