The Abutilon in place in the box out front. The abutilon was a cutting as well as the purple tradescantia, crystal palace lobelia, schizanthus and Begonia. Really packed a bang and only purchased a six pack and a begonia corms. I'll be repeating this process again, what a great bang for the buck! (Begonia also bloomed very late, they didn't like early season before the surrounding plants got large enough to protect them).

Thank you both. This was the scene early summer. As the schizanthus passed over, the fucshia and begonia had filled in to take their place. I'm so pleased with it all.
Sandra, the results here make me want to try the same thing. I think they would love it. Holiday, I love calling it that. :-)

I'm packing mine all away again after their holiday as we type GT....always hard as no matter how much room i have, i can never fit them all in and leave room for the new year seedlings. i have been gathering all my stock plants in first. the aeoniums have done really well but they are all soo much bigger. next will be all my succulents. but i love it when they are all gathered together....:-)

I love succulents gathered together too. Strange how making a place for plants doesn't seem to provide as they grow....lol:-)

Thank you. I can't believe I did so much from my own cuttings! I'll be using tradescantia every year. As a houseplant it is sad and pale but lives through anything.
