Put on plenty of growth this year. Will be wrapped up for winter in a day or two!

They prefer sun Sticki - although for most of the summer (?) it was on the shadier side of the deck - I kept forgetting to move it. I have another smaller one growing in shade in the side border - it's only there because I didn't have any where else to put it. It's sheltered by a Rhododendron and doing ok - it just hasn't grown very much.

might leave mine there for the winter [for protection] then move it to a sunnier spot in the spring????

Thats a shame Scottish, I am lucky as mine is over 12 years old now and down here I dont have to protect it.

Sticki - I'm going to leave the one in the side garden to it's own devices - you never know do you??
Drc....It over wintered last year in next doors greenhouse - without wrapping up but it was very mild. So will wrap it up and get my son to carry it next door when he comes back from Cyprus next week. It's not too heavy and I could do it myself but it's much more fun getting him to do it. He will have a moan and a groan but no doubt he will be back without any money so he will be aiming to please :)))))
