This young Indian Banyan tree, which was planted last year is growing like crazy in the very hot weather this year. Photo taken Sept. 25, 2012.

Yes, the leaves are very shiny. In 40 years you won't notice the leaves so much...as it'll be huge (not as large as in the tropics) It grows to be a monster in the tropics. It covers many acres.
