Sunny and warm. Peaceful scene (from the deck.)

Delonix1,
Yes, although it is never really hot here like in your parts of the world. But it is unusually warm and very, very dry. Our native plants and trees are depending on the moisture that they are usually getting and show some stress already. If this continues we might grow cactuses instead of cedars trees and rhododendrons.
Other than that I enjoy the warm weather
Take care

Is this the view from the deck of your house Klahanie? Wow! lucky you!

Yes Karen, We bought this property because of this view.
We have 8 acres of forest and mostly shade and wildlife.
Not so good for gardening. Deer will eat almost everything. Deer and me have love and hate relation. They are beautiful and I like to see them but I would like to keep them out from eating my plants. I heard that they can be trained to stay on their paths but the problem is that they made the path through my garden :-)

lol...well, 'them's the breaks' as they say. If I had a view like this I wouldn't need to garden like I do here I think. Let nature do all the work for you, sit back and take it all in! :)

Lately, I am starting to think exactly that way Karen. I am only planting shrubs they do not like.(which is not much) but they would browse everything. Most of our property is in a nature setting and it is pretty in it's own way.
Take care

I've heard you've been getting nice warm to hot weather up there, also.
I'm getting tired of the hot weather, though.
