A gift from Mme Huret...the previous owner, Terra. There's a small bank of them keeps reappearing, no matter how many times I dig...or what I plant on top.
I still keep forgetting they're there, though! :)

Yay, Bloomer, Terra and Paul...she can't have been all bad (contrary to what I hear)!
...but, is it her who walks past the window every day??

The bulbs of autumn crocus seem to go down a long way. I decided to move a lilac one and thought i had transplanted all of it successfully but two years later I was surprised to find i now have two clumps.

Hello Sg! Yes, I think you're right...I've dug and double dug that part of the garden - pulling out all unidentified bulbs (mostly because I really dislike muscari - and I can't tell which is which) and I just seem to have redistributed both of them over a wider area!

Pull both leaves and flowering stems off the muscari when it pops up and then it will die from not being fed. It gallops round the garden otherwise.

Thanks, Sg...I will do that, next year!
