New Gardenia for Delonix.

Probably, gardenias are a little fussy I think. They don't want the soil too dry but they don't like it too wet either. I put all the plates from under the pots away this week.
I would love a yellow Gardenia.

If you want a yellow-flowering Gardenia, see if you can get Gardenia carinata. It's from Malaysia. It's not very hardy, though. It grows here as a small shrub...in Hawai'i it becomes a large, spreading tree to more than 40ft (12m) tall.

I wish I would have taken a pic of my sis-in-laws plant when it was in flower.
I want every type of Gardenia I can get my hands on. ;o)))

It appears you have a Tabernaemontana coronaria.
I used to have one many years ago. It has really sweetly fragrant flowers, which only smell at night.

I will post a pic again with a flower.

I'v had a gardenia (yellow) all summer , Alex , but the flowers have all dropped before opening . Do you think that it has been too wet for it here ?
I've brought it indoors now .
