It is lovely Carole I keep meaning to move this as it does struggle some years, needs a position with more moisture but this year has been great for it.

This is lovely! I have one like this.....at least it is called Geum Rivale...but when it flowers it has virtually no petals on it at all. I think I might remove it and replace with another G.R. 'Leonard's Variety' which is lovely. :)

That sounds a strange one Karen, this is 'Leonard's Variety' lovely colour, its done great this year with all the rain :-)

Ah, well perhaps that explains it. Let me see...yes, a couple of the pics of Geum Rivale, the species, on Google look more like mine. Not very showy at all. I like this one much better. Thanks Kathy!

What a pretty colour, I got some small plants of this from GW I have just planted them out, so know now what I have to look frward to next year;0)
