a closeup of the petals...sooo pretty.

this one is about 12-14 inches tall, Bampy. I have other plants growing in the nursery bed...they have been taken by our frost last night...sadly they never had a chance to bloom. Amy had a look about her garden and found it. How did the images compare with this, then? the lacy leaves seemed larkspurious!

Pretty flower. Shame about the frost. Frosts in UK too but not in Essex, so far.

I must put up a picture...the Salvia is dead but the little larkspur is going to blossom...and we've had temps marginal to freezing in the day time. Lovely Essex...land of my ancestors.

I'm thrilled that you have some that flowered Lori ,this is a lovely blue , I've since been out and collected the few remaining seeds from mine I would have ben to late if you hadn't posed the question about yours so thanks for that :o))
