I planted this crab apple in the forest for birds to enjoy in the winter and myself the flowers in the spring

How old is yours Wells? I have it for 4 years and it got little spindly. But since it is not an ornamental element on our property, I do not really care.

Mine is 13 years. It was loaded 2011, but most of the cherry trees in Vermont are bare for berries. It's not that the birds ate them, just did not appear in 2012. Why?

Lucky you, lucky birds. what a great idea and so many berries. Mine only had a couple of handfuls.
