My Giant Yellow Shrimp plant is still blooming like crazy. Photo taken Oct. 22, 2012.

It has more flower now. The flower spikes on the top of the plant have just appear in the last couple of weeks.

Thanks! It's still blooming like crazy with the 90ºF (32ºC) weather we've been having. Tomorrow is going to be hotter, if you can believe that.

It's so, so crazy! Some places around inland San Diego County (and not the desert only) may be getting up to 100ºF (38ºC) today.

It's actually not too unusual for November in San Diego. It's just been so hot this year in Southern California. November is statically the sunniest month in San Diego.

I know it's tropical. It loves San Diego; however, is very widely planted in Miami, FL.
