You are not alone Delonix, but I do not mind.

I hate it! lol! :>)

When my Jacaranda tree looses its leaves in early Spring...it's such a mess. The leaves are small mimosa-like leaves. They get into everything! But the flowers are well worth it.

I know Jacaranda trees very well Delonix. They are truly beautiful in bloom but my gosh when they are finished they are mess. We spend our winters in Mexico and the village is lined with Jacarandas. I think I am allergic to them as well

Klahanie:

It's a very beloved tree here in California. I have a 50ft tall by 45ft wide tree in the front yard. I hate when the leaves fall; however, don't mind when the flowers fall.

I do agree it can be a messy tree...also, the branches can be brittle and break during high winds.
