Vertical Herb Garden (1)

This is slightly different. These pipes are only six feet long and 6 inches across. The posts are the same height and size, and anchored the same way as the vertical vegetable garden. That garden used four beams and so the pipes were anchored one inch higher on the two inside beams so that water will drain out towards the open ends. For this shorter herb garden with only two beams, we anchored the pipes one inch higher on one side so the water will flow to the other side.

Hi- I remember you posting the picture to say you were going to build one of these vertical gardens. So it is great to see the progress you are making! Can't wait to see the end results, keep us posted with photos! Hope it works well :)

Thank you, all, for your kind comments.
Klahanie, I cannot take credit for originality but it is still a great source of excitment!
Terratoonie, yes, the dog has "little man syndrome" but I think anyone would if they were his size! LOL
Sarahm, I FINALLY got to it! I was away for a while and am now back to the garden. Yeah! I missed it! All the seeds I had started died, for the most part. Our heat hung on far too long and even the nurseries suffered. Misery loves company so that news actually made me feel better! LOL
So...back to sowing seeds again...practice makes perfect!
