One year on...

...hello peeps, realise this is not Strictly (love it by the way) a garden pic, however, think the lovely grass is acceptable?? Seriously not been on for a while - lovely to see all your pics - Kai turned one in October and had to make a cake. Hope you are all well. xxx

You did a good job of it Janette ,it looks really professional ,I use to like making cakes for our children football pitches , soldiers Forts with chocolate fingers for the wooden surround etc . they use to like to see there surprise cake x

That looks great,Janette..I can't believe he is one already ! Is your grass ,coloured Coconut? It looks like I used to make..only unlike Amy,mine was a Dolls house,with a jelly Diamond roof....and those thin red wormy things,shaped into windows...same choccy fingers for fences...oh,Happy days ..wonder if I still have a pic somewhere !..Have you Amy? ..I love your little track and Thomas.I bet Kai loved it :o)

Thanks Amy. I love making cakes, made a few wedding/christening and lots for the children over the years. Going to make a christmas cake this year. Just love decorating :o)) Yes Sandra the grass is coconut. Get your photo's out :) Kai did like his cake and no doubt I will have to continue with one each year

Thats brilliant N3tyy, I can remember making them for my two girls too, the one that they really lovely was half a barbie doll, sorry the legs had to go, she didn't feel a thing honest lol, stuck in the top of a sponge made in a pudding basin, decorated with roll out icing and jelly diamonds and other bits and bobs, have to wait for grandkids now and don't think mine'll be having any anytime soon.

Thanks Simbad. Would love a go at a Barbie, but that would mean another grandchild and running round after one is quite enough at the moment (I should be 2 stone or 19'6) :o)))). Thanks again, and... you never know? :oD
