I think I kind of like this one.

There is a little touch of white down the throat which makes it special to me. My heart is sore today - we got a new gardener today and he went through my favourite daylilybed with a garden fork - leaving more damage behind than a tornado. I went through the garbage bags and could retrieve about seven or more seedlings together with the plant markers - seedlings from seed I received from the AHS seedbank...I've put tem in water and hope I can save them. They could have bloomed this year...

This is lovely Daglelie......
What a shame about your seedlings, think I'd have cried, all that nurturing for them to be destroyed like that, hope you manage to save them, will he be allowed back ?

I know how you feel - I have had problems with cows. I also don't let anyone else work in my garden because they have the idea that if they don't know what it is, then it is a weed. If they were big enough to flower, then he has few excuses.

Simbad, I've seen him this morning and told him to not come back...ever. It feels as if someone stabbed me with a knife and twisted it as well. I really took time to let him understand what I want and how to do things. I asked him nicely to leave the daylily bed nearest to the house as it is, that I prefer to work there alone, he was stubborn and refused to listen to me and just carried on. And why did he throw away the plant markers that cost me a lot of money!!

I think Fushia and purple make a great combination.
