Beautiful container planting

I love the darker tones of this planting found in one of the gardens open to the public in my area. At last it looks as if summer won't be a total washout ...no pun intended. We had such a wet & cold spring, & summer started last week wit .....you guessed it .....rain & cold. Still wearing jerseys or jackets some days ....in summer? In NZ? I don't remember it being like this when I was a child! Wow ....now I am sounding like my mother.

What a beautiful colour scheme,Dwyllis..I love that grass..is it a Pennisetum (spelling?) I am adding it to faves for future reference..Sorry your weather is so disappointing,but it made me laugh when you likened yourself to your mother! Lol..been there,done that ha ha..

Hello :) Sorry, I am not sure what this lovely grass is called. I have seen it in a GC that I sometimes visit, so will have to check it out. I imagine another member with more knowledge than me, will be able to tell us both.
