Yes, it is unique to this part of the world . Like everything else.... fascinating to all of us who live in another parts of the world.

this is the place I could walk, take plenty of water & sunblock, good hat, camera & fold-up seat. Id be watching out for rattlers & lizards in the hope of getting photoes plus those amazing cactus. Perfect.
Is it a restricted nature reserve or can you walk to the top of those hills K?

You can walk Bampy, just be aware of these snakes. Lots of opportunity for some good pictures.

I have some nice pictures for you. I will start posting soon. The real cactuses in the desert. Some are magnificent. Unfortunately they do not bloom at this time but I might have some pictures from March.
