It has been my favourite plant of the year. Just started some B.salsilla seeds off - I quite fancy a few different species from this genus.

I think that this would grow very well over there Alex, and would almost certainly prove to be reliably hardy.
Mine finally keeled over last night after seven or eight weeks without water. I went to put it to bed for the winter and found several tubers were growing outside of the pot. So I had to cut the pot away and put the clump of tubers into a large pot with fresh soil.
