That's a lovely photo, full of character, hard working hands but caring too.

These people lived in mountains without electricity, gas, waterpipes. Thy had to bring the wood from forests, cut it, make fire each day, mow meadows to have enough hay during the winter for animals, they didn´t have bathtube with hot water, just luke or cold water from reservoirs. Baked their own bread, made their own jams, butter and still - had time to sit and have a time for tenderness. Extraordinary generation.
