I am amazed too but the plants really do not know what to do at the moment. I have just had a rhododendron in flower which should not flower till next May. Ido wonder if it will flower at the proper time in 2013.

I think the late sunshine and the milder Autumn (here, anyway) really confused them. I have a lily which has produced a beautiful set of buds - frozen now, of course.

The heavy rain here seems to have turned everything mushy! I just hope things do return next year. At least my heuchera seem to be holding up :)

Mine have been very good too its a pity I can't remember which is which. I've been out today cutting back lots of perennials because I worry that the weather will be against me in Spring if I leave everything till then. I like to see the frost on the dead growth but I'm not as fleet as I used to be plus there seems to be more and more demands on my time.
