This is the softest yellow self, one could easily describe it as cream coloured. It is tall: 34 inches/86,5 cm with huge blooms: 6 inches/15cm. Hybridized by Joiner in 1988. Blooms mid-season. Dormant in winter. Reblooms. Diploid. Very fragrant. It won the Ida Munson award for the most oustanding double for 1996.

You are right, that will give very nice seedlings. I have'nt start hybridizing with the new ones- I am too overwhelmed!

You should try crossing this one to the poly unknown. With luck they are both DIPs (most of my polys are diploids).
