Yes, abies balsamea is a great tree - so symmetrical, isn´t it? I have one teenager in my garden, too :)

Thanks Bampy! The heavy wet snow caused a power outage...we had no electricity for 24 hours...but our tree was shining away on GoY!

Hi Amy and Sandra, thankyou!! ...I'm sitting at my computer on New Years Eve...we moved in here 2 years ago today! Thanks for the Christmas wishes...we had a lovely quiet family day with our sons in Ottawa. Hope your holiday was happy and complete with family and friends. We have about a foot more snow than in the picture!..it just won't stop!
