My Jungle Dragon Acalypha looks terrific all year here in San Diego,CA. It's a very tropical shrub native to the South Sea Pacific Islands. Photo taken Jan. 4, 2013.

The weather overall has been very clear...although, we've had showers and rain from the north bring very chilly air to San Diego. It's been so cold (between: 42 - 45ºF. or 5.6º - 7.2ºC) in the mornings. Daytime highs have been coolish too, around 63 - 70ºF or 17 - 21ºC.

I guess I consider myself lucky. It's been very clear the last couple of days. Today the high temps was 72ºF (22ºC) and crystal clear. But by Thursday another cold front is heading our way.
