When will you make me manicure?

Manicure here means treatment to finger or toe nails ,does he need his /her trimmed.

Sure. Lol. I know.
Yes, yesterday I had to trimm claws of one of my rabbits, but as I checked today, this one needs manicure as well.:)
It happens during the winter, when they cannot run in the garden and dig their holes, like this one:

... so their claws grow in several months into enormous size. I have to give them a clip.:))

We had to cut the claws of our rabbits when we had them and also do the same to our cat. When we kept the goats many years ago I used to have a pair of cutters and take off so much of the outer hoof and cut the soft tissue down a bit. I had to be very careful about how much to take off too. Lovely rabbit....lop eared....we had a couple of the small Dutch rabbits but they always seemed to suffer with dental problems. One of our rabbits used to come indoors for a run about. I put a litter tray in one corner and it used that like a cat would. We had to watch him though, as there were wires and wooden skirting boards that we didn't want him to chew.

Lindak@I never found what attracts them on cables and wires. They always must try it with teeth. Once I took a small bunny to my colleague, who wnated it for her kids. She had meeting and while she had it, bunny was in my office room. I took him out from the paper box, in order to let him stretch and I was working on computer. In no more then 10 minutes my compute switched off and I found its cabel was cut. Lol. The rabbit was looking on me with such innocent eyes, lol.

Lucky he wasn't a fried rabbit Katarina. Rabbits are lovely to keep as pets as long as you handle them a lot or they can be difficult to catch and pick up.

It depends on personality....like in people :))
