Like you,I have put seed out to attract Finches,and no sign of them here either..although something is eating them..lucky you,with Woodpeckers..something else I never see here :o( ..

It is good to see woodpeckers. They are so shy.
Don't the pheasant dig and scratch-up the plants in your garden? On the few occasion I have had them appear, a trail of destruction determines their passage through the garden.
