Very stylish! Nice and chunky, too.

it was quite a chunky price but having seen other people 's flimsy ones collapse i thought i'd go for some strength. several goy members recommended firms. it is certainly heavy.

The rose you have chosen has a delicious scent and will look so lovely with the clematis.
Please take a pic when it has been assembled.

I think I heard that Rose 'Zephirine Drouhin' will grow (and bloom) in shade. Do you know Seaburngirl, is that true?

well i hope so as she is going in part shade.

Zephirine has a good tolerance in shade, some say that it is best grown on a north-facing wall.
I have grown it in sun and shade. Both flowered well.
The only weak/annoying thing about ZD is that they do suffer from mildew. :(
Plant the rose on the shady side and allow it plenty of cool air.
The scent is rarely bettered..
>> (Note to self - Must have a look and see where I can plant a ZD.)

I love this, it's very attractive, winter beauty will look stunning, and Zephrine is so pretty and no thorns.....an extra bonus!
