Lovely Sheila, how big is it?:-)

Thank you Ba. I took this through the window - just one tiny part of a 6 foot Nandina (my favourite evergreen!).

20 Jan, 2013

6 foot! I thought they stayed small lol, it must be very happy where it is:-)

20 Jan, 2013

Lol Ba . . . there are two types! We have a couple of 6-footers and a little 2-footer: both in the sunnier front garden :)

Ah, what are their names, I'll google:-)

I clicked on 'N' at the bottom of this page to check because I couldn't remember. Seems Nandina 'firepower' is quite small, but N. 'heavenly bamboo' quite tall. Good luck!

22 Jan, 2013

Oh I think fire power is mine, good job as it's in a pot:-)

22 Jan, 2013

Thinking about it ...I don't think my leaves have been red.... maybe not firepower lol:-)

The leaves can go reddish, bronze-ish, etc. (when they're not green) at any time of year. How long have you had yours?

22 Jan, 2013

Two years I think, but only one stem left really, that's why I put it in a pot to bring it in the lee of the house:-(
