It is not possible to tie it as sometimes garden magazines recommend to do with columnar evergreens, as this one has 6 metres now.

They do not break, they have flexible branches. But after all they look like broom struck by lightning.

Well, Amy, the wood of Juniperus is claimed to have as many qualities as cedar, but unfortunately, its branches can be easily broken by ice or a lot of snow.
