I've moved the water butt around from the side path and attempted to disguise it with my Viburnum Tinus and Prunus L. 'Otto Luytken'. They should cover it by next summer I hope. I've also added a little planter to the top of the water feature, and a little hedgehog to the bottom to hide the hole I made when I dropped a heavy pot on it! Sorry about the primula that's falling off the edge...that's really bugging me now...I shall have to go and tidy it up! lol....I can't help it!

You know, this one has been sooooooo abused! first it was in a pot....no flowers that year. Then it was planted in dry shade and it grew like mad but then got scorched by cold winds. Then I dug it out and pruned the roots to force it back in to a pot for this corner. That was 2010 and I really thought I'd killed it that winter. So then I had to really hard prune it and it took a long time to grow back to this size. It was definitely happier in dry shade than in a crowded pot!
