Thank you Annella, I have had to search for one that was flat enough to turn upside down and with not too much decay to fill in with soil and plant up. Hope it lasts for a while although it came free so I suppose nothing lost if it doesn't. lol. one of the benefits of having a large wood behind the house. lol.

thank you Paul, have been wanting to do it for a while but could not find a tree stump which was cut flat enough. Found this one in the wood and wheelbarrowed it home with the help of OH, thought it looked rather good myself. Not my idea though (I hasten to add) I am sure I have seen it on a picture on this website, maybe or another one I used to belong to. lol But eh ho any ideas are always gratefully accepted, especially when they do not cost a penny. lol :O)
